Nearly two-thirds of the 42,000 inner-city students sponsored by ICSF live at or below the poverty level, and a similar number come from single-family homes. These families struggle to makes ends meet. For many, our schools represent their best opportunity for a better future, instilling in their children a love of learning, inspiration and a drive for success: • Total number of students: 42,000 • Percentage of students near or below poverty level: 64% • Non-Catholic students: 36% • Minority enrollment: 93% • Percentage of students who graduate: 98% • Graduates pursuing college or university studies: 97% Year after year, thousands of graduates of ICSF schools go on to attend the best liberal arts colleges and universities in America. A large number of these boys and girls attend with the help of generous scholarships. Colleges include: Cornell University, Fordham University, the Air Force Academy, Syracuse University, and Wellesley, among others throughout the country.
