Megan and Dennis Goett |

Megan and Dennis Goett have been loyal and active supporters of Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) for over nine years. Introduced to ICSF at a Junior Committee event, Dennis remembers fondly, "A friend of mine dragged me along to a Junior Committee meeting and I was hooked. I really enjoyed working directly with the kids and I felt like I was making a difference in another person's life." Since that day, Dennis has held a number of positions within ICSF, including Junior Committee Co-Chair, FRIENDS of Inner-City Scholarship Fund Board Member, and First Steps Board Member.
Two years ago, Dennis and Megan attended an ICSF Award Dinner. As they listened to a speech by a student who was an academic scholar, athlete, and Be A Student's Friend scholarship recipient, they knew they wanted to sponsor a student. Dennis remembers, "We were so touched by her story, we called the next day and asked where to send the check. It is something that both my wife and I feel is important because this donation helps a kid get a leg up in life." Dennis and Megan now sponsor two students! One student recently completed her junior year at Aquinas High School in the Bronx and the other just finished pre-kindergarten at Ascension School in Manhattan.
ICSF would like to thank Megan and Dennis for all of their wonderful support. They continue to be enthusiastically involved in various aspects of ICSF and are true cheerleaders for our Be A Student's Friend scholarship program.
